"Happy Birthday" Dad....Two of the most influential men in my life....Today would have been Dad's birthday...I miss him so very much....He was born Dec.1, 1917...He would have been 92 today....And my Gayle has been gone from this life sixteen years this month...The two of them are greatly missed...I know they are together on the other side...

Love the photo. I think of them both too. I still have the screwdriver set that Gayle left behind when we lived in the big blue house up on that hill. I called and ask him about it and he wanted to know if I had one, of course I didn't, so he said to keep it. I keep it because he gave it too me...that way every time I use it I think of him. Love that...loved him, too!!
ReplyDeleteI wish you and Suzie would post more memories about your life at home. I know it was a hard life, but you are such great people because of it. The last few of us did not turn out the same as you first children and I know that's because you grew up during a different time period and our parents were different then.
